	Rev. Stephen Oglesbee, Senior Pastor and Head of Staff Steve grew up in western Pennsylvania and Indiana. His father is a Presbyterian pastor and his mother a church musician (both now retired). Steve attended college at Indiana University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Music and a Minor in Spanish. Steve met Kendra in college; they have been married for 20 years. Following college Steve served for three years as a full time campus staff member with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. He then attended Princeton Theological Seminary, graduating in 1992. Steve served as an Associate Pastor in Western Colorado then Pastor/Head of Staff of the Center Grove Presbyterian Church in Indiana. 	Rev. Tim Galligan, Associate Pastor of Outreach and Evangelism Tim graduated from Princeton Theological Seminary. He grew up in Burlingame, California. He earned a double degree: BS in Electrical Engineering and BS in Cognitive Science, both at University of California, San Diego. He worked in information technology for one year, then started taking classes at both Fuller Theological Seminary and San Francisco Theological Seminary. He then enrolled at Princeton for two more years of classes and received his Master of Divinity degree. 	Reg Brown, Director of Music and Arts Reg leads a wide-ranging music program including five choirs (adult, youth and children), a vocal/instrumental group, three handbell choirs, a brass ensemble and a stable of vocal and instrumental soloists. In his spare time he is in demand as an organ soloist. Reg obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from McMurry University majoring in Pipe Organ and Voice, and a Master of Music from the University of Kansas in Choral Conducting. His professional affiliations include the American Guild of Organists, American Choral Directors Association, American Guild of English Handbell Ringers, Presbyterian Association of Musicians and Choristers' Guild. 	Katrina Pennington, Youth Director Katrina, her husband Greg and their children came to CLPC in 1994 through the invitation of a friend. They quickly felt at home and became involved in the life of the church. When their oldest child moved into the youth program, Greg and Katrina became involved as youth volunteers, going on retreats and mission trips, leading small groups and helping in anyway possible. Jordan is now a sophomore in college and Kelsey, a high school sophomore, is active in the youth program. Katrina received her BA from Baylor University and her Master’s in Christian Education from Golden Gate Seminary. Her vocational background is in Christian education, having served on church staff as the director of children’s education for 6 years at a church in Oklahoma and then as the principal of a local Christian school for 9 years. In 2001, Katrina was asked to serve as the director of student ministries at the church and she happily accepted the position. Jeremiah 29:11 is her favorite verse because it is a reminder of God’s faithfulness and that His plans for us, though sometimes surprising, are always better than our own plans. 	Robert Ashley, Saturday Night Worship Leader Robert is an amazing guitarist and musician. He’s been a worship leader for over 15 years, and has trained many others to be worship leaders as well. He is excited about working with our worship teams and other interested musicians. He has played with many famous Christian musicians, and he has played with many up and coming musicians as well.
	Kimberly Corson, Director of Children and Family Ministries Kim is a native Houstonian and comes to us after teaching at Dobie High School and Houston Community College. Kim has a B.A. in English and Psychology from Baylor. She has served as Director of Education at Friendship UMC in Illinois and has felt God calling her to return to Christian Education. 	Dee Ward Director - Early Childhood Program (Preschool & Mothers' Day Out) A lifelong educator dedicated especially to young children, Dee is thoroughly committed to providing a loving, welcoming place for the children and families who enter the Dayschool’s doors. After earning her education degree in Illinois, Dee soon relocated to Houston and has lived here twenty-nine years. Originally teaching Kindergarten for the Dayschool 15 years ago, Dee transitioned to Assistant Director and is now Director, continuing the tradition of offering an excellent early childhood program, coupled with retaining loving, experienced teachers in a beautiful new facility which opened in Fall 2005. Besides her sincere passion to create a loving, welcoming atmosphere for children and families, Dee adores her own three kids and especially her three grandchildren! 	Courtnie Withers VISIONS Director Courtnie was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She attended Virginia Union University in Richmond, VA. Courtnie returned to Minnesota after graduation to be an after-school program assistant. She loved it and decided that she wanted to further her education in the field of Education, and returned to Virginia Commonwealth University where she received her Master’s degree in Counselor Education, staying in Virginia for a year to work as a High School Counselor. 	Bennie Sidman Childcare Coordinator A longtime Texas resident, “Miss Bennie” is adored by children and parents alike. Fueled by her love for children and families, Bennie has brought a new level of dedication and warmth to our families with the youngest children. All that love comes from great beginnings, as Bennie and her husband Jud were married at CLPC and have four equally dedicated children (Courtney, Lacey, Ross and Jill). Bennie shares her success in the nursery with her family, and you may see them all contributing their time and talent in the program. Bennie has been involved in the Children’s Ministry program over 17 years as Sunday School teacher, Childcare Coordinator and teacher for the 2 year old Dayschool class. 	Carol Jordan Operations and HR Administrator Carol, who has a Masters in Educational Administration, and is a retired CCISD school teacher, began working for CLPC in 2006 as an Assistant to the Music and Arts Director. Since then, she has filled in for various positions within the office staff including payroll and deposits clerk, and interim Facilities Coordinator. Carol has two college-age children, T. 	Jared Simmons Facilities Manager Jared is a graduate of California State University of Los Angeles, but is originally from Austin, TX. He worked for several years in a church facilities role in California but is now glad to be working in such a beautiful Texas church. He also has experience as an Emergency Medical Technician. He and his wife Carissa are excited about the recent move to the Lone Star State and are eager to call Houston home. 	Karen Siu Montalvo Executive Administrative Assistant Welcome to the newest addition to our staff along with her husband Noe and 3-year old daughter, Jasmine. Karen was born in New York City, but moved to Houston in the Fall of 1990. She attended University of Houston, where she has been on leadership with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. She is a Clear Lake High School Alumni. Karen is currently a member at Clear Lake Chinese Church and recently became a resident of Pasadena. She enjoys decorating her house and spending time with her family every chance that she can get. Karen also is responsible the newsletter Currents and Fridgenotes submissions. 	Dana Park Care Coordinator Dana has served on staff at Clear Lake Presbyterian since 1998. She coordinates our Congregational Care, manages the database and membership records, and coordinates the work of our Servant Ministry Team office volunteers. She and her husband, Howard, have lived in Texas for 23 years and have three grown daughters, Jackie, Katie, and Beth. Dana and Howard enjoy hiking in the mountains and traveling with family, especially with grandsons, Ben, Jake and Henry. Dana's email is dana@clpc.org

	Jeannie Stone Accountant, Pledges, Contributions & Finances Jeannie has served CLPC as the church Accountant since February 2000. She handles, records, and reconciles all of the CLPC financial transactions to prepare the monthly and year-end Financial Statements, maintains contribution records and pledges, memorials, and employee benefits. Jeannie and her husband, Terry, are active members at CLPC, both have served as Deacons, both teach Sunday School classes, and Terry is an elder. They both enjoy playing tennis, traveling, and spending time with their children Adam, Ashlee, Jason, and new grandson baby Jackson Bryant Fisher! Jeannie's email is jeannie@clpc.org.
