Welcome Tim Galligan! The Associate Pastor Nominating Committee recommends that we call Mr. Tim Galligan to serve as our Associate Pastor for Outreach and Evangelism. His candidacy won't become official until the next meeting of the presbytery, which is in late August. In the meantime, we have gained permission for you to meet him, indeed, for him to preach at all three services this coming weekend, May 21-22. If the way be clear, he will move here in late July, begin working August 1 as the "director" for outreach and evangelism, with the final votes and approvals for ordination and installation to come around September 1. Tim graduated in May from Princeton Theological Seminary. He grew up in Burlingame, California. He earned a double degree: BS in Electrical Engineering and BS in Cognitive Science, both at University of California, San Diego. He worked in information technology for one year, then started taking classes at both Fuller Theological Seminary and San Francisco Theological Seminary. He then enrolled at Princeton for two more years of classes. He has been a worship and praise band leader, has organized alternative style worship services, and is a dynamic preacher. |
