children due to Aids, Malaria, and contaminated water, there will

WBT focus on ethnic groups who have no access to the Scripture in a
language that they can fully understand. Our focus is on providing
them with translation in their mother tongue.
WA, USA was organized in 1967 by supporters and friends of Wycliffe
missionaries as the lay ministry of WBT. More than 55,000 WA chapter
members and friends are now involved in a personal way with Bible
translation through prayer, education, finances, and hands on
projects. Through our national office we are made aware of needs all
over the world for volunteers to use their skills and talents on
projects of a few days – up to a couple of years. Locally, we are
also adopting a new translation project in Mexico.
