Dr. Jack Haberer,
Pastor and Head of Staff 1994-2005
Raised a Roman Catholic, Jack accepted Christ at age 15 by way of the Jesus Movement. Within ten months he led nearly 100 friends to Christ. Along with two friends, he organized a coffeehouse, which grew almost immediately to an attendence of about 200 teens on a typical Saturday evening.
Jack holds a BA in Religion and Philosphy from Roberts Wesleyan College, a Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry from Columbia Theological Seminary. He has previously served New Covenant Presbyterian Church in Pompano Beach, FL and Trinity Presbyterian Church in Satellite Beach, FL.
In January 1994 Jack was called to Clear Lake Presbyterian Church. In addition to pastoral duties, Jack is active in the Presbytery and General Assembly. He has written numerous articles for publication and speaks frequently at conferences, most often on the person and ministry of the Holy Spirit.
In December 2005, Jack became the Editor and Chief of the Presbyterian Outlook.
