Objective
The CLPC Junior High will join with other groups to build over 70 homes for people living in
desperate circumstances. Malnutrition is a problem for adults and children. Though health care can
be obtained by the poor for free, medications can cost a day's wage! Mission Discovery will also
conduct medical clinics for the poor and you'll have a chance to help distribute medicines that will
literally save lives!
Each day your team will help in leading Vacation Bible School in partnership with a local church
and visit door to door with people who desperately want to know more about you, why you have come and who
you represent!
The workday begins early with individual devotions, then hard work in near 100 degree temperatues.
Mission Discovery's evening program is a lively mix of great music with Christian artists, teaching,
and video from the day's work. Lodging is on the U.S. side of the boarder and drinking water is
carried from the U.S. to Mexico for you and your team.
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in
Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth" Acts 1:8
