Sunday Morning Class for Men 10:15 AM in Room L211

Come join the men’s Sunday school class beginning September 9th. Dr. Vic Hirsch a clinical psychologist leads this class. The class attempts to balance the Christian male role of being God centered, but still true to his masculinity. Help explore the soul of a man as God defines him. In today’s world it is not easy. To some the call of Christianity to men has evolved to no higher goal than becoming a nice guy.

The study this fall is Paul Coughlin’s, No More Christian Nice Guy: when being nice instead of good hurts men, women and children. God does not call men to be passive, weak, fearful, always seeking others approval with a passive mindset. Coughlin unveils a better way that elevates the true biblical model of manhood.

This class invites men to come alive and find a purposeful battle. Don’t make this journey alone. Come join us as we pray, laugh, share ideas and helpful guidance. But more than fixing, this class wants to awaken. Discover who you are in Christ and how you can be happier along with those you love and depend on you.

Wednesday Men's Bible Study Wednesday Mornings 9:30am in L208/209
LeRoy Schlechte leads this group in a study and discussion of books of the Bible. This fall they will be continuing their study of the General Epistles, II Peter through Jude. On the last Wednesday of the month, the group enjoys lunch together at a local restaurant, honoring those with birthdays that month ending in “0” or “5”.

Friday Men's group at 6:20-7:20am
Led by Joe Bradley, men meet for an hour each week for prayer, fellowship and Christian study. The study for fall will be A Resilient Life by Gordon MacDonald.

Every first Friday, the group meets at Denny’s on Bay Area Blvd. for breakfast. All are welcome to join at any time.
