Project Hallelujah!

A Project for the Renovation of the Sanctuary of Clear Lake Presbyterian Church

The renovations to CLPC's sanctuary will create a more comfortable, accessible and uplifting place of worship. The changes include:

  • Enhancing comfort and accessibility for worshipers by replacing the old pews, adding space for wheelchairs and reconfiguring the new pews in a semi-circular orientation.
  • Creating a more inviting and beautiful worship environment with new floors and fresh paint, including the ceiling.
  • Expanding the chancel for more flexibility for the music and arts, longstanding features of CLPC's worship.
  • Relocating the organ pipes and chimes to better utilize sanctuary space and to improve the sound of the organ.

During construction, worship services will take place in Celebration Hall. Construction is expected to be complete by August 2003.

Remediation and Construction resumes!

"That 'he sticks with us' is the reason Christians can look back over a long life crisscrossed with cruelties, unannounced tragedies, unexpected setbacks, sufferings, disappointments, depressions-- look back across all that and see it as a road of blessing, and make a song out of what we see...
...Perseverance is not the result of our determination, it is the result of God's faithfulness".
Eugenge H. Peterson from 'A Long Obedience In The Same Direction'
