Rev. Tim Galligan
Associate Pastor of Outreach and Evangelism
 Tim Galligan grew up in California’s San Francisco Bay Area, but also spent a few years in Hong Kong, Kansas, and New Jersey as well. He has been an active Presbyterian all his life, and in many ways grew up in the church. He went to a Jesuit College Preparatory in high school and was an active member in his youth group. He also became an Eagle Scout during this time.
In college he attended the University of California, San Diego. While there, he was a leader in InterVarsity Christian Fellowship and he was active in his Church as well. During this time he was also a Jr. High Youth Pastor for a summer, and spent the next few years as a volunteer youth leader in multiple churches. He finished his time at UCSD with 2 majors: one in Electrical Engineering and one in Cognitive Science.
After college he moved back to the San Francisco Bay Area, where he spent a year working in Silicon Valley at a small, start up, Internet Company. After a year there he began his theological education at 2 seminaries simultaneously: Fuller Theological Seminary and San Francisco Theological Seminary. After 1 year he went on to Princeton Theological Seminary where he earned his Masters of Divinity. Since then he has been called to be the Associate Pastor of Outreach and Evangelism at Clear Lake Presbyterian Church in Houston Texas.
Tim has 2 younger brothers, one getting his MBA at Beijing University in China and the other who just started College at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. His father has spent time as a banker, a lawyer, and a Presbyterian Pastor. His mother is the director of children’s ministries at his home church, and will soon be ordained as a Presbyterian Pastor as well.
Tim is excited about this, his first call, and is looking forward to all that God will do both in his life and in this church in the coming years.
