Worship
Worship is the central activity of our church. We gather on Saturday
evenings and Sunday mornings to express our praise to the sovereign Lord,
our thankfulness to our gracious God, our contrition to our forgiving Savior,
our dependence on the Holy Spirit, our receptivity to the Living Word,
and our fellowship with Christ’s body, the Church.
CLPC offers three styles of worship to engage the heart and mind with the timeless truths
of the Bible.
- Saturday Night 6:00 pm Worship offers an upbeat, casual. "come-as-you-are"
worship style featuring a contemporary Christian Praise &
worship band.
- Sunday 9:00 am worship service incorporates contemporary music and
instrumentation, providing an exuberant time of praise and prayer.
- Sunday 11:15 am service provides a reverent, uplifting time of worship,
incorporating traditional liturgy and music of all periods led by the Chancel
Choir and accompanied by our magnificent pipe organ.
